Locarno and Lugano: Exceptional Training Facilities Across Switzerland
To further enhance accessibility and flexibility, AELO Swiss Academy has established a satellite base at Lugano Airport, located just 10 NM south of Locarno. This strategic addition allows for increased operational efficiency and offers students additional opportunities for practical flight training. Our Lugano operations complement the comprehensive programs offered at our main base in Locarno, ensuring consistent high-quality training standards across both locations. With the Alps as a backdrop and just over an hour from Milan Malpensa Airport, our satellite base in Lugano provides both a peaceful atmosphere for study and easy access to bustling European airspaces.

A Dynamic Environment for Aspiring Pilots
AELO Swiss Academy offers aspiring pilots a dynamic training environment that mirrors real-world airline operations. Operating primarily from our main base in Locarno, with additional opportunities at our Lugano satellite base, students benefit from diverse flight experiences across varied landscapes and airspaces. This combination of scenic Alpine routes and complex high-density airspace near northern Italy prepares students to become adaptable, skilled pilots, building a strong foundation for a successful aviation career.
