AMRIS Mentored ATPL Program by AELO Swiss Academy

More Than Pilot Training. Airline Readiness.

The Amris Mentored Program has been developed for aspiring pilots who want more than just a commercial pilot licence. Delivered alongside AELO Swiss Academy’s ATPL Integrated programme, it provides continuous mentoring, AI-supported development, airline-focused competency coaching, and professional guidance throughout your training.

While AELO is responsible for delivering world-class pilot training, Amris adds an additional layer of support designed to help you become the best pilot you can be—both technically and professionally. Through personal mentoring, evidence-based development, airline preparation, and career guidance, the programme helps bridge the gap between flight school and your future airline career.

Whether you’re overcoming challenges during training, preparing for airline assessments, or simply looking to maximise your potential, the Amris Mentored Program ensures you never have to face your journey alone.

Become Your Best.

About Amris Aviation

Combining Exceptional Flight Training with World-Class Mentoring

Amris is an Ireland-based aviation organisation that works with airlines, flight training organisations, and aspiring pilots to improve pilot performance, training standards, and airline readiness.

Working with a carefully selected network of leading flight academies, Amris combines decades of airline expertise with innovative AI-powered development tools to help students become safer, more competent, and more confident pilots.

The organisation supports airlines across the globe (Ryanair, Wizz, Hong Kong Express, Pegasus, Avianca, Air Astana and more) in areas such as pilot recruitment, competency development, training standardisation, and AI-driven training solutions, while its Academy division works directly with students throughout their ATPL training journey.

Together with AELO Swiss Academy, the Amris Mentored Program provides aspiring pilots with a unique opportunity to benefit from both exceptional flight training and continuous professional mentoring, creating a clearer pathway from student pilot to airline-ready First Officer.

The Experience Behind the Program

The Amris Mentored Program is led by Captain Andy O’Shea, one of Europe’s most respected airline training professionals.

During an outstanding 28-year career with Ryanair, Andy served as Head of Training for 18 years and Deputy Chief Pilot – Flight Standards, overseeing the training and development of more than 10,000 airline pilots as the airline expanded from 26 to more than 460 aircraft.

Andy also chaired the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Aircrew Training Policy Group and played a leading role in developing the APS MCC concept now recognised throughout Europe.

His experience gives students something very few training programmes can offer: direct guidance from someone who understands exactly what airlines expect from future First Officers.

Why Choose the Amris Mentored Program?

A Complete Development Programme for Future Airline Pilots

The Amris Mentored Program complements AELO’s ATPL Integrated course by focusing on the areas that traditional flight training alone cannot always provide.
